I found a glut of beautiful retro mugs on my travels over the weekend. We are in love with these, Amy and Zoë were fighting over the purple flowery one, so we're going to have to sell them so there are no arguments!

This week's Friday Find is from Paul. He spied this gem and saw it's potential, despite needing a good clean, whilst visiting relatives up north.


This Metamec beauty was made in England in the early 1980s. We adore its beautiful face and retro styling. As Paul has a number of clocks already, he has kindly decided this one can be sold in the shop.

Amy spotted this week's Friday Find, knowing full well I wouldn't be able to resist buying it. It's a massive, and I mean MASS-HIVE (works better if you imagine Denise saying it), hole punch. It does 4 holes. I don't think it's particularly old; I don't even need a four-hole punch, but I just love that it's so enormous! I'm using it for a door stop in our office at home.

I've been at Denise's Hens' do this evening. We had great fun, I got to turn Charlotte in to a swan with toilet paper.

This week's Friday find is from Zoë - she found these gorgeous Rosti Danish egg cups, which are now for sale in the shop:


They're really tactile and stack beautifully.

Sorry! I know. It's Saturday. Yesterday was spent at wedding dress fittings (not my own!), making quiche, packing picnics and hanging out at the park until they chucked us out. But there is always another park.

This week's Friday Find is a joint effort from myself and Fiona - I spotted it and she bought it, but then gave it back to me! So thank you Fiona, I love it.

Yes, I went to the cinema, visited Warwick University, made a quiche and watched X-men movies back to back whilst knitting (yes, me, knitting. Continental style and everything), so completely forgot to blog yesterday! Sorry!

Today's find is a set of six 70's (we think) Pyrex Drinkups. We've had squat ones before, (click here to see some of them), but I like that these are tall as they're great for lattes! Additionally, multiple colours means Amy can display them in rainbow order.

Our Friday Finds this week come from all of us, and have been accumulated over several years, but they are finds nonetheless! Amy, Zoë and I all adore vintage fabrics, especially retro bedding. In order to make anything fun with it, we think you need at least two contrasting bits. So we have pooled our collections to make these fabulous fabric packs!
