The Berylune Blog / brooches

Mad dogs and Northerners

We had a fabulous birthday. I got to give presents to little girls (and big ones) and many cakes were eaten. Amy and Denise wore big puffy frocks. We got some lovely 1st birthday cards and Roisin even brought us posh tea all the way from Paris! Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you enjoyed your sweetie bags if you weren't lucky enough to win a prize.

Zoë made me a felt pug brooch! He is the cutest thing, I love him. He's been living on my clothes for over a week now.
If you'd like one of these, you can purchase one over at The Granny Square,  or we'll have them in the shop soon.

It was Paul's birthday last week. As he's a huge fan of Caramels and Scotland in general, and has recently started baking yummy biscuits, we decided to give him an exceedingly manly Gillian Kyle apron. Here he is, looking manly:

We have noticed recently that Paul is physically unable to have his photo taken without pulling a funny face. See:
Tuesday's knit and natter

In other news, we had a lovely blog mention this week- Suzi over at Rock Villa Designs popped in to the shop last Saturday and took some pretty pictures. Click here to see what she thinks of us!

Phew. It's all go.

Flamingos and a startled cat

We have new jewellery! Some of it is a bit funky, such as our startled cat brooches:

Or maybe the cat is being tickled?

and our flamingo brooches:

Pretty kitsch...

Spring has sprung in our shop at least, even if it feels like deepest winter everywhere else!

If you like our rose earrings, you're going to love our new chrysanthemums! Do I need to bang on about how great our titanium posts are again?...
