Giant Lidded Crock Jar LOCAL PICK UP ONLY

We have no idea what this giant earthenware jar used to hold (flour?), but we think it would make an excellent umbrella stand, with the lid removed. Or used for storing shopping bags, laundry or dog kibble in your kitchen perhaps?
