Yashmi Jute & Cotton Cushion Cover - Oblong

The rich tones of this indigo and neutral Yashmi cushion are perfect for adding depth and texture to create an inviting living room. The cover has been handcrafted using a screen-printing technique that is still used in Rajasthan, India today. The bold graphic effect is created in these steps: the jute is stretched flat on to the frame, the indigo colour is added, and then the chevron graphic is screen printed onto the jute. The fabric is then washed and dried, ready for stitching. Jute is completely biodegradable and recyclable, incredibly efficient to grow, and beautifully hardwearing with a soft finish.
