Less Knitting, More Nattering

We had Knit & Natter (aka Stitch 'n Bitch) in our craft studio last night. We had a great time, everyone was really jolly and helpful (especially to me!). Amy's lemon drizzle cake and chocolate & cherry cookies were just delicious.

For our next session, we are going to implement the following changes:

  • Introduction of a Swear Box. 'Balls' is fine. 'Bobbins' is fine. Other swear words uttered/shouted/screamed due to dropped stitches/general boobs as a result of too much nattering will incur a 20p fine. Proceeds will be donated to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire
  • The act of throwing delicious baked goods from our first floor window to hungry boyfriends/husbands/spouses below will no longer be tolerated. This will incur a 20p fine to be donated to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. If boyfriends want yummies, they have to come inside and be crafty
  • Specific discussion topics are now banned. The life and works of Ryan Gosling has been exhausted as a topic of conversation; further mention of Ryan Gosling, his films or his abs will now incur a 20p fine. Proceeds will be donated to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire

Denise, stretching for cake as part of her weekly exercise regime

Thanks to everyone who came, it was great fun! We'll probably be running this fortnightly, we'll post further details when we've decided. We're also thinking about holding a scrabble night!

Amy & I had mussels at Rouge after Knit & Natter. We were embarrassed that they had to fetch us a second table to accommodate our order!
