A big hunk of wood

As I mentioned before, we picked up a sideboard on our trip to Bristol on Wednesday. It was made in the UK by Nathan furniture in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. I'm guessing it's teak. Also guessing it was made in the 60s, but if anyone can enlighten us, we'd be pleased to hear from you!

Clearly, whoever made it had the exact dimensions of this gap in our shop, because it fits a treat.

We've had some lovely press today! Sarah from Crafts from the Cwtch popped in to our shop on Saturday for a bit of shopping and a natter. I'd never seen Sarah's blog before, but it's great! She has generously posted free knitting and crochet patterns (including one for a knitted booby!), as well as a wealth of beautiful crafty pictures. Thanks for the mention Sarah!

Also today, budding local journalist Katy Oakes had an article of hers printed in The Phoenix Newspaper during a work experience program. She writes about four Leamington businesses, including Berylune! Check out page 23 in February's edition. Thanks Katy, and well done!
