Vintage Stoneware confit pot with one handle.

Before refrigeration, confit pots were used in French country kitchens to preserve goose or duck - Confit is from the French word “confire” which means “to preserve”. The ones are a bit rustic and have some chips, cracks and signs of age but they are still very sturdy.

We love them filled with herbs or utensils.

Please note this is a vintage item, so a varied finish is to be expected, these have a few cracks and chips.
